Leripa's experience in the field of suction roll seals goes back to 1961 when we started using ROBADUR (UHMW-PE).

As machine speeds increased LERIPA introduced ROBASEAL, which is a rubber-graphite base material. This experience and knowledge lead to the development of the next generation of Seal Strips, ROBASEAL-A (advanced).

ROBASEAL-A was developed to address the requirements of modern high-tech paper machines. ROBASEAL-A is constructed from top quality-materials for suction roll seals available today which guarantee the maximum safety for the proper operation of you suction rolls.

In order to provide optimum operating conditions it is important to use very elastic loading tubes. 

ROBATUBE has been specifically developed to allow exact ad- justment with very low air pressure and thus, to allow the seals to "swim" against the shell.

This service includes the delivery of strips together with the optimized tubes. (We recommend to change the tubes with every change of the seal strips for safety reasons.)
